We’re thrilled to announce that we’ve been shortlisted for the Education Resource Awards 2021 – as a finalist in the Supplier of the Year category.

The ERA awards celebrate the very best educational products and resources in the UK, as well as the most extraordinary schools, teachers and suppliers in the country. The judges look for services and people who are making a real, practical impact on learning and the day-to-day work of classroom teacher.

Teaching and learning are at the heart of our well-known EAL programme – the Learning Village. The programme is accompanied by a comprehensive package of support and technical help, giving our members easy access to EAL specialists. We provide full training for new members and more experienced users, as well as a three-day course for senior leaders on developing a whole-school EAL framework.

It’s been a difficult year for everyone involved in education – and the support we provided for COVID-19 remote learning was taken into account in our award application. Thanks to the strength of our online programme, we were able to work seamlessly with schools during lockdowns. To strengthen our support, we produced new, free resources and documents to help teachers, children and parents accessing the programme from home, and moved all our training courses and networking events online.

It’s this combination of expertise, resources and flexibility that has led to us being shortlisted this year. Along with all the other ERA finalists, we’re delighted to be working to make education the very best it can be!
